As many of you might have noticed, we have changed our logo a little bit, we have changed our name a little bit, and we have changed our owners.
What you might not know is that late last year, our long-time owner, Tim Mull, decided he wanted to be an agent, not an owner. At the same time, one of our long-time agents and another employee expressed an interest in owning the company. It was a win across the board for all involved.
We still have the same great agents, working just as hard for sellers and buyers of manufactured homes in the Rio Grande Valley.
We want to give a big “Thank You” to the communities for, once again, helping us to have another epic year, with sales numbers that continue to exceed our expectations.

A look at the past year for Winter Texan Home Sales 2
As more and more people find out about the warm weather, tropical vibe, affordable housing, and citrus orchards, among other things, the manufactured home sales industry has grown rapidly in southern Texas.

For the past 13 years, Winter Texan Home Sales 2 has increasingly grown into the leading manufactured home sales company in the Rio Grande Valley. Winter Texan Home Sales 2 attributes their growth to the growth of Winter Texans moving to the Valley, the repeat business, and recommendations of satisfied customers.
At the end of each year, we like to look back and compare our numbers as they grow. We share this information monthly with residents of Victoria Palms Resort by posting it on our bulletin board in the Activities office. With changes in our company this year, we were still able to maintain a steady growth pace that sets us up for a great 2023.
This year our home sales have grown from 256 in 2021 to 381 in 2022. That might not sound like a lot, but when we talk about dollars, it was $6,548,269.00 for 2021 and a celebratory $10,816,684.00 for 2022.
Our agents, marketing team, and professional office staff have been working hard for our home buyers and sellers in the Rio Grande Valley and it shows. Our team is ready to help you succeed as well!

Tim has also been such a wealth of knowledge during the entire process. Winter Texan Home Sales 2 is a well-orchestrated company that embraces the feeling of family. Tim hired each one of the employees and welcomed them into his family. He then worked with his “family,” creating new ownership that has succeeded due to the firm foundation that Tim created. Even though Tim retired as the owner of the company, he has still embraced the Rio Grande Valley as an agent for Winter Texan Home Sales 2, planting his “For Sale” signs all over the Valley.

Mobile Home vs. Manufactured Home vs. Park Model
Have you ever wondered about the difference between the three? According to the Manufactured Housing Institute, the difference is the year the home was built. In 1976, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) significantly raised the standards and requirements for the quality of these homes. All recently built manufactured homes are required to be up to code. This includes the homes heating & air conditioning systems, fire safety, plumbing, electrical systems, structural design, construction, and energy efficiency.
Park model is neither an RV nor a manufactured home. This type of home is built according to RV industry code but usually in the same factories that produce manufactured homes, so the same rules for quality and modern design are applied. A park model is 400 sq ft or less in all states except Florida.
Today’s manufactured homes and Park Models are safe, quality-controlled, affordable, and allow for a lifestyle that is a little simpler.
